Gay Jews :D
Today I went to services at the LGBT synagogue downtown with a couple of my friends. (As my roommate said when I told her, it's New York. There are a lot of Jews and a lot of gay people, so it's not surprising that there would be one. In fact, it's the largest one in the world.) It was really nice! They had their own prayerbook that they'd put together for the congregation, with lots of interesting comments on the words they'd changed in some of the prayers to...well, queer them.

And I went out for sushi with four gay guys afterwards. Fun times XD

Unrelatedly, I feel like a lot of people don't have the same spring break as me. :( But if anyone's going to be in DE between 3/13 and 3/19, we should hang out! (I'm going to Boston for the last few days of my break because Shalhevet is performing in the Israeli dance festival at MIT on the 22nd.)

Yayyy!!! *happy* :D :D If there's one lesson that Milk taught, it's that the best thing that you can do for the gay movement is to come out. I actually feel way more passionate about this than environmental issues. And I still have this residual buzz that makes me want to start something and lobby still. :D :D

But ya... that really sucks about your spring break. I'm on mine now. Ours will overlap, but your first weekend is my last. Lets definitely hang out then. *hug hug* miss you!!
