Trivia!
I totally didn't know this:
In Azumanga Daioh, Chiyo's two friends from before she was sent up several grades, Miruchi and Yuka, look like miniature versions of the two main female teachers. They even have similar names: Yuka looks like Yukari, and Miruchi looks like Minamo, a.k.a. Nyamo.
After reading that, I went and found pictures of them, and they really do look alike. XD
